WHAT MAKES Unique Retreats for Women UNIQUE?

Spring is the season to think about change.  Spring is also the season I ran my very first Unique Retreat for Women – back in 1996.  I can’t believe it’s been 13 years.

Retreats, in general, are a gift women give themselves. For a few days, they let go of their worries about home or work and just focus on themselves.

Unique Retreats for Women, though, is unique in the additional benefits it offers.  First, it includes a minimum of 15 hours of group discussion and innovative exercises.  They are specifically geared to help women clarify their personal goals, discover and address their individual issues, including ones they didn’t know they had.

Women leave with plans for concrete action, having designed their own specific strategies to reach their goals – goals that only a few days ago they weren’t even aware they had.

Now, all retreats are exciting and exhilarating because of the intensity of being with caring women in a caring nurturing environment.  However, the glow from the weekend typically dissipates as women return to their daily lives.  To prevent that, Unique Retreats for Women unique has a built-in six month group follow-up (by telephone) to assure each woman maintains her momentum from the weekend.

Another unique aspect is the evening entertainment provided by Barbara Baxter, the gifted ventriloquist. Her “talking friends” tap into one underlying theme of each retreat, finding your own voice.

The next Unique Retreat for Women: Women Ready for Change is coming up this summer – August 14-16.  If you’ve never been to the Lexington, Kentucky Bluegrass area or a laceName w:st="on">ShakerlaceName> laceType w:st="on">VillagelaceType>, this retreat will be a combination of vacation and personal growth, relaxation and internal excitement as you get clarity on what you need to move ahead in life as you wish.

In a season of tight economics how can you think about both a vacation and a personal growth experience, and lots of problem solving therapy (that isn’t therapy)?  Easy, Unique Retreats provides it all.
