Are You Prepared for Thanksgiving Day with Your Extended Family?


Thanksgiving is coming.  If you are going to be with your extended family, you may be preparing for a stressful meal -- or worse, entire afternoon.,  You may be hoping the football games consume the entire day so you won't have to talk (or listen) to family members.  Unless you have a Norman Rockwell gathering (idealized), you may be dreading everything but the food.

I describe four steps to do your part differently.  Once you are clear about how everyone will behave and what they will say -- as they typically do, you can then change your part, which will lead to a different outcome.  The four steps are
