Who Comes to Unique Retreats for Women Ready for Change?
I've gotten lots of inquiries about the last Unique Retreats for Women Ready for Change. (November 12-14, in Syria Virginia) that will be held in 2010.
The questions are mostly around two topics: Where is Syria, Va and and who comes to these retreats.
1. Syria, Va is about an hour outside of Washington, DC, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountain. it's a great location, great view (and great food).
2. Only a few women worry that "weirdo's" might come (no). Most women wonder if the retreat will help them with their issues, problems, or indecisions (yes). They also wonder if they'll be too old (age range seems to be from mid-30s to late 60s. And, I've found the age range to be a real asset, actually). Or, they wonder if they're too young; will they have anything in common with other women.
Some women come because they are feeling stuck in their personal or professional life. Or, they have to make a tough decision (in their personal or professional life). Or, they feel they are missing something in life; they've just had someone dear to them die; they see their children moving ahead with their lives but have no vision for themselves as they get older; they see their clock moving but they aren't moving with it.
Women come for lots of different reasons. And, some women actually come not knowing what they want out of the retreat -- they just know they want something.
The bottom line is you don't have to have the same problem as any one else; you don't have to have anything in common with anyone else. My job is to make sure each of you get's exactly what you come for (and if you are not sure why you are coming, my job is to help you leave knowing why you needed to have come!)
And, don't forget, there are two different discounts . If you register early (by September 7), you get $50 off the price. And, if you come with a friend, you get another $25 off (you have to call me for this discount).
