I wonder if it will rain tomorrow?  Actually, I don’t care, but I happen to know that tomorrow (Feb 10) is Umbrella Day.  Can you honor a day even if the thing that is being honored isn’t needed? 

Keep laughing, because the next day is Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day.  (Again, no, I am not making this up.)    

Then, the best of all is February 14.  You think this day is just about love and romance.  Think again.  It is also

• Clean Out Your Computer Day
• Ferris Wheel Day
• National Organ Donor Day

Who makes up these days?  I guess they have to go through some vetting process.  Frankly, I love Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk.  For mothers of young children, this could be a helpful command.  For married and single women, it is permission to let go of all the things you wish you had said or done differently.

And, maybe for all women, it can be a call to action to put aside what hasn’t worked well and charge ahead with something that is really important to you now.
